Link Between Extreme Glucose Levels In Diabetic Patients With Heart Failure And Increased Risk Of Death
Compared with patients with moderately controlled glucose levels, diabetic patients who have heart failure and either too high or too low glucose levels may be at increased risk of death, said researchers at Baylor College of Medicine in a report published in the current issue of Journal of the American College of Cardiology.

The NPA is providing training on 4 August 2009 for prereg tutors who will be using the NPA"s Preregistration Trainee Pharmacist (Prereg) Training programme 2009/10. Sabina Khanom, Assistant Head of NPA Education and Training said: "We would encourage all prereg tutors to attend the training day on 4 August in St Albans, especially those tutors who are new to prereg training. The session will cover the role of a prereg tutor, performace standards, performance review & feedback and dealing with problems that may be encountered whilst tutoring a prereg."
